Ersilia Sarrecchia

Ersilia Sarrecchia, born in Latina in 1974, is an artist and teacher of Art and Image who lives and works in Modena, Italy. An honors graduate in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, she began painting from the age of seven, finding inspiration in nature and photography, passions she has cultivated since childhood. For more than two decades, Sarrecchia has exhibited his works in solo and group shows, both in Italy and abroad, extending his artistic research from painting to photography and ceramics. In 2002, he founded the art workshop laranarossa, transforming it into a design brand that combines painting with furniture accessories and clothing, exhibited at international fairs such as in Moscow and Las Vegas. Laranarossa also offers pottery and photography classes, art history classes, and serves as an exhibition space for young artists. Sarrecchia collaborated with Cassina Group for a commission from the prime minister of Qatar in 2010 and has won awards such as the Tina Prize in 2015 and the Officinars Prize in 2019. He has participated in art residencies such as boCS Art, where his project "Essences" was acquired by the Cosenza Museum of Contemporary Art. His recent works include cycles of works shown in various galleries and exhibitions, and he has received recognition as a finalist for the Combat Prize in several editions.
